Special Quick Announcements Episode

0:00 Hey, folks, John Newman here from sports Car Nation podcast and Hobby Quick Hits. This is not an official episode, but I wanted to take just a couple of minutes if you'll allow me to go over some things that are happening with the channel that will be better improvements, I hope, starting with sports Car Nation, our longest show, but we're gonna make it a little shorter and better. And how we're gonna do that is you've probably already noticed, if you're a listener of the show, the way we've redone our sponsor commercials, We've made them less intrusive. We're going to actually improve even more upon that by tweaking that a little bit. You'll see or you'll hear what I'm talking about. With the next episode. We're gonna make shorter intros.

0:46 We're gonna get to our interview guests very quickly into the episode, So no long intros, just more or less, Hey, here's who's on the show today. Let's get to it and get right to that interview. Interview itself will face very little interruption, a lot less than than what it used to be. And if the interview that we do when a guest goes long, Well, we'll make a two part series. We want to keep the episodes two at most. They forty five to fifty minute length, somewhere in that range. So if we're having a great conversation with somebody, we'll we'll just make it a part one in a part two, and back to back Fridays to keep the length down. We'll get to the interview quicker and it'll be less interruptions. I think everyone will like it better, or at least that's that's our goal. On our X page, we have a Friday night Vintage Football buy, sell and trade post starting at six pm. All are welcome to participate.

Card manches the show, myself and Danny Black do. Nothing's changing there. I just want to remind everyone it's every other Friday. It's live at nine pm on sports Car Nation YouTube, card Manches YouTube Danny's YouTube at sports Ball and it's every other Friday live at nine pm. If you don't catch us live, we release the audio for that on Monday's. It alternates with Hobby Quick Hits. Speaking of YouTube or sports Car Nation podcast on YouTube, we do a show cause the hobby is the people. It's YouTube exclusive only. UH, it's not a you won't hear it in audio form, and so if you you know, like subscribe, follow. We appreciate that. Upper Deck will send us product to review, and I've been posting videos on there. I've got a couple more to get on there. But after those couple, future ones will be audio podcasts only on Hobby Quick Hits. We won't be doing videos on the upper Deck. We'll just do audio only.
